CBM: X-Men '97; Deadpool and Wolverine trailer; The Boys returns June 13

"If I pull the Venom mask off, will you die?"
"It would be extremely painful... for you"

One cool thing they could do with Venom that no movie has done yet, but comics do all the time, is have multiple people play different Venoms. I'm assuming since they cast a big name like Hardy, they'll probably stick with him, but it would be awesome if we got Venom introduced with Hardy, and then it leaves him for say, Mac Gargan in the 2nd movie while Eddie Brock is still around. I would assume if they plan on making a franchise out of it, then this would be the natural plan.

And then have a Flash Thompson Venom and reintroduce Tom Hardy as Anti-Venom.

It's all about those eyes with Hardy. Even Mike Krzyzewski is impressed with his eye work. Anybody remember who K was talking about when he made some creepy comment about some player's (or maybe it was a recruit's) eyes? I don't recall.

Basically Friday night is geek night on ABC.

https://www.google.com/amp/ew.com/tv/2017/05/16/once-upon-time-agents-shield-fridays-abc/amp/

OUAT will launch at 8 p.m. ET, followed by the debut of new super series Marvel’s Inhumans, which will run for eight episodes. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will then launch later in the fall, possibly midseason. Both Once and S.H.I.E.L.D. will still have 22 episode seasons.
“We’ve turned Friday into more of a destination for our fantasy and science fiction fans,” ABC Chief Channing Dungey told reporters Tuesday morning. “Once Upon a Time and S.H.I.E.L.D. are airing on the same night for the first time, which is giving many fans of both shows what they’ve been asking for for a long time.”

Avoiding this thread since I had not seen guardians until yesterday.

Moving sci-fi and fantasy fare to Friday's? Of course. Us nerds don't get out much.

Really enjoyed guardians. Similar quality to the first. Vol 1 was a better experience due to 1 - no expectations and 2 - packed theatre (mostly adults with a buzz) in on the jokes and all laughing together. After the entire theatre laughed at the Kevin Bacon footloose joke an early teen girl behind me whispered to her dad "who's kevin bacon?" Just a different experience from playing hooky from work on a Friday to see a movie with the wife.

There's a thread on the Tunnels saying that Trump is the Dems fault; Bill Maher says it's our's, the people of this thread:
