I don't think the problem was the budget. The problem is Finn Jones sucks at fighting (which is a huge problem when he's supposed to be a badass martial artist.) It was bad enough seeing him try to fight people who were actually there, I can only imagine how bad he'd be at fighting CGI.
 
I still don't understand that casting.
 
CBM: Marvel's The Defenders premieres on Friday

Nice. I'm catching up on Legends (don't judge, I don't have to paid full attention). Just saw the ep with a freaking t-rex. But Marvel can't do a dragon.

In news I missed two months ago, Cloak and Dagger already got renewed for a second season by Freeform.

That's awesome. I have very high hopes for that show.

Legends was a lot better S2 when they embraced that they are just a goofy show.
 
I didn't bother to watch Season 1. I've enjoyed Season 2 for what it is.

I rewatched the Cloak and Dagger trailer. I definitely looking forward to it.
 
For a show featuring Heatwave and Firestorm as 3 members of a 7 person team, there is very little actual fire.
 
I didn't KenPom Legends of Tomorrow, but I bet the stats show that at least half the episodes had some excuse that Stein and Jackson couldn't combine, since pretty much all those episodes could be resolved by "hey Firestorm can you take care of this?", the standard OP character problem.

My business today has been taken care of - time to begin the binge!

Usually they don't bother to explain it.

I watched ep 15 last night that featured Firestorm turning metal into jellybeans. That was the first appearance since early in the season aside from an alt-Firestorm appearance.

Not sure you need a scientist and an engineer separately when you have a guy who can transmute objects.

That said I do like the dynamic between the characters so I don't mind not having Firestorm.

I'm through a couple defenders eps so far. Iron fist actor continues to be a bad actor and annoyingly anakin like
 
I wish they'd schedule these for a Friday where I didn't have a ton of work to do or a ton of basketball to watch.

What show are y'all watching? there's plenty of fire on Legends.

Two eps into Defenders. It's okay so far. I'm sure it will get better. I wish Iron Fist was on a 13 episode-long conference call.

ETA: Stick around for the end of episode 3. It's worth it.

By the way, there's a new Spider-Man animated series on Disney XD. Haven't seen it yet. Would be nice to have a good Marvel animated series.

Started episod3 one last night. Stopped it after 15 min and just went to sleep. I assume I'll work through the early episodes hoping to get to the pay off but he makes it tough to get excited for.
