Why in the hell does the TBS graphic in the upper left corner always show 2nd base to be occupied? It's been that way for the entire postseason. It's awful confusing when watching without sound while being constantly distracted.

Dodgers perpetually have a runner on second. Is that what you're talking about ?
 
Tigers are gonna suck next year anyway, Townie, regardless of the manager, so might as well be someone you can fire without too much heartburn down the road when you're ready to compete again.
 
Baseball Reference and Wikipedia list Ron Gardenhire as 6', 175 lbs. LOL. Nope.

Congrats to the Dodgers and the Biffs of the world. They were the better team this series and utterly dominated. Should be a fun World Series.

Who did you want?

Not saying Gardy is an all-time great, but he has a solid resume. He has won MOY (and finished in the top 3 of the MOY voting 7 times in 13 years), and he took the Twins to the playoffs (not easy) multiple times. It's not like they hired [redacted].

I've never liked the Dodgers, but this team has almost no one to really dislike. But they are still wearing that uni.

Yep, there's no sense hiring a guy who was 6 times 1st or 2nd in AL MOY voting in thirteen years (finished 3rd another year).

Dodgers/Nats would have been a great series. Too bad they choked away yet another postseason. Dusty was probably only a small piece of that failure, but he definitely owned that part...
