BBall Recruiting Thread 2k19 - Charles Coleman de-commits to Wake. :(

there are college basketball fans that actually think manning is as good a coach as buzz williams? williams is 2 times the coach manning is. i belive buzz has a bit more experience under his belt though

Yeah but we really don't care what the people in Latvia think

Sharone Wright turned his ankle last night in a pretty ugly injury. His dad says he is going to be fine but that it was pretty scary. His foot got caught in the base of the basketball goal ala Paul George.

Ouch. Why do you think God hates Wake Forest so much?

Yeah, the base of the goal had about an 18” diameter hole in the padding. I don’t think this will be a long term injury from the sound of his dads tweet.

Keep us updated on his recovery. Does anyone know if this is his first significant injury?

Danny is still recruiting EJ for '18 post SJM dismissal. He seems to know someone else will leave. If we are not fortunate enough to add EJ I think he will look to the grad transfer market for a big, but who knows what type of talent will be available? I don't want another Terrence Thompson.

Assuming it’s still a long shot?

I would think Danny could get a much better big with a full grad transfer cycle available than just a couple weeks.

Hard imagining a scenario where Richard Washington is on the roster next year.

Duke and Chapel Hill are definitely ahead of us. I truly hope DM can sell the opportunity to succeed at Wake, and neg recruit Duke as a team with too many options in front of him and UNC as a team that keeps talent too long because Roy can't develop it (Pinson is a Sr. 5-star recruit with no NBA prospects to show for it).

We will continue down the road of Well Man basketball suckitude. Please retire Ron. Sad thing is I have no confidence in anyone making the next hire and of course Tim Duncan isn't coming back in any form. Get used to this shite and above all stop giving money to Well Man.

Yet Luke Maye could be an NBA prospect.

Thanks, that’s what I’m hoping too. That and the ability to start from day 1 should be good recruiting sells. Duke has Zion committed already, Bolden and Delaurier already on the roster. Seems like it would be another situation for him that resembles Bolden at Duke.
