Lol, that's still over 2 weeks since the post-season game. What are you talking about, crazy man?
 
Or it just means Wellman took his time in making the decision to change coaches, meaning there's a chance he hasn't made his mind up on bringing back Manning. And FWIW, Dave Odom left on April 10. If you give credence to the belief that he left after being told his contract would not be renewed, and say it took him about a week to find a new job, you're looking at a similar time period. The point is, there is plenty that can still happen.

Dino was fired late, because we wanted to make it seamless in our hiring of Brad Stevens. We were waiting for Butler to be out of The Dance. Wellman personally fucked that up.

The notion that the asshole who preceded Danny was our first, second or third choice is Wellman's false attempts at face-saving.

I don't know what the other "issues" may have been, but the powers wanted Stevens and were in contact with him.
