Danny Manning Credibility Watch

how close is Wake Forest under Danny Manning to having an "established program"?

Danny didn’t make it to the first round. He lost the play in with an NBA first rounder on the team. Every team I have watched today has a better coach than Manning. He needs to go
 
Need Danny Hurley or Wes Miller now. Their teams actually play defense, we would be so much better with either. Danny will never be good but Wellman is too proud to admit he made another mistake. We are so far away from being relevant.

Danny Hurley's team blew it against a pretty crappy Syracuse team last night.

The criticism that Manning takes around here and the lack of criticism directed at other coaches is really interesting.

Please watch the teams play and then tell you don't see a difference in defense and energy.

Ain't that the truth. People that watch a Manning team and think they are seeing quality basketball have no concept of what good basketball is.

UNCG played a damn fine game. With athletes that would not get off a Wake bench, they took Gonzaga to the wire.

Davidson's offense is a thing of beauty. They were pretty consistently getting open shots despite being completely outmatched athletically against Kentucky. Off-ball and back-door screens, guys constantly in motion. Completely night and day from the Manning "pick-and-pop everyone else stand around" crapfest I have to watch.

No big deal, Danny's Rhode Island team is really active on the boards and on defense. They are a pleasure to watch and they went far in the tourney last year. Don't like bashing Manning but his team does not compete like Rhode Island or UNC G- no question on that. Not sure why we continue to settle for mediocrity

He took a small ball lineup and held the best player in the nation in check and blew out a #4 seed.

Manning couldn’t beat a high seed caliber team in multiple tries.
