basketball season tix sales

Any word on how basketball season ticket sales are going?

I cannot imagine that they have not taken a huge plunge.
 
I'm just going to wait until they sell 4 ACC game packs on the cheap (or something comparable).
 
My wife and I insist that we will not buy season tickets for the first time in a decade, but my daughter is really excited for basketball (she's 4 and doesn't know any better). I think we will probably just get some $5 tickets outside for whichever games we decide to go to and maybe we'll moonlight in the band for a couple holiday games if we're in town.
 
After 41 consecutive years, our family is not renewing. Seriously.

Wow.

We're not going to get tickets again, though we didn't last year and have moved further away to justify it. I suspect we'll go to several weekend games.
 
First time ever, I'm not renewing

Was not at all impressed by the coupon they sent out, after spending a fortune on our two seats last year only to have them sell four game packs for peanuts. Not to mention the product on (and off) the floor.

I'm so glad we've 'changed the culture' of WF Basketball. :(

In less than a year and a half Wellman has taken a devoted and loyal fan base and turned us all away. Great move!
 
Although these non-renewals are just anecdotal evidence, it sure as hell doesn't bode well when you're diehard base (us internet warriors) have thrown in the towel.
 
I wonder if we'll average 2,500 a game for the first four games? I'm sure the official attendance will be far higher but after last year I'm skeptical of those figures.
 
I was looking for someone to split season tickets with me, but the prices are just as much as they were and the product can't be as good so this is a tough sell.
 
My family isn't signing up for a suite this year and going back to the seats in 107.

Not enough people are interested in going to games to justify a box.
 
I couldn't be more disinterested in going to the games. I don't want to give up my super seats long term. That is the only reason we renewed this year. It would be nice to get a freakin' break on the cost of tickets.

Also, I just looked at the cost of my Notre Dame Football ticket. $80/ticket. All the other ones are in the $50 dollar neighborhood. While I realize they could put $200 on it and still sell out but...FU

So you'll be slumming in 107, eh? I've been slumming it up there for 22 years, you'll be welcomed back! Hell, it might be nice to have someone else sitting in our row with us, ha!
 
Nope. I'll go the, "hey scalper, I'll take that worthless ticket off your hands for 5 bucks" route instead.

I have extra tickets most games and end up taking it on the chin. I need to go your route and save the cash!
 
More $$$$ for the booze that the results will force me to drink. FORCE, I say. Force.

I don't think you were charged $80 if you bought a season ticket.
 
As I mentioned above, I'm not renewing my tickets.

However, I did log into the ticket selection site tonight to check availability. WOW.
This is pitiful. I believe the alums and fans are showing their dissatisfaction loud and clear.
