2020 Democratic Presidential Nominees

Stupid sicks need to get healthy.

Or, we are just providing way to much healthcare to people for marginal health impacts or returns. I understand this is because in a way doctors have become sales people first and health practitioners second, but the answer is not to socialize medicine.

So remove the capitalist incentive.

To be fair, I think you are too stupid and dishonest to know what the answer is.

So remove the capitalist incentive.

Or you could regulate insurance companies to push people to a more reasonable level of care. Without dismantling the health care industry and socializing a third of the US economy.

Or you could even provide universal healthcare but still allow people to remain on private health plans if they choose too.

Literally anything is better than Medicare for all.

Abolishing the health care industry while providing no government health care would be better, it certainly would bring down the cost of health care.

Or we could do the same thing with universal care and save at least 27% off the top (most states all for 15% or so profit. Medicare has a 3% overhead cost versus at least 15% for private companies). Also, the top level management in private companies make massively more than government employees.

Nah !

The net worth of all the billionaires in America combined is 3 trillion dollars. The proposed cost of Warrens plan 50 Trillion dollars. At some point revenue to cover is going to have to come from somewhere else.

It is theoretically possible to tax money sent across the boarder the Mexican families to cover the wall payment. Thus greater than a zero percent possibility.

Only it was way more feasible that Mexico will pay for the wall than it is billionaires alone will pay for Medicare for All. Like way more feasible.

Hm, billionaires alone won't pay for M4A, that's not her proposal.

Revenue isn't the only way to pay for stuff!

Yeah but the shift is coming from insurance payments to taxes. Warren is saying that no tax increases or payments in other forms will come from anyone outside of billionaires.

She's not saying that, and taxes pay for health care now too.

and if y'all expect the government to run healthcare at or below the cost of the private sector...... El Oh El.

Already does.

We are also consuming more healthcare per patient as well.

Incorrect.

Only a tiny bit correct, but costs are still the bigger problem, not amount of care given.

You managed to go 0 for 7 here, good shit.

Is he, though? Centrist Jill Stein better not fuck this up.

i mean, at least he's not declaring a run as independent from the start. he could if he somehow gets traction in the primaries and loses. that is the disaster scenario
