I don't think the gay thing has anything to do with it, just as I don't think the lashing out at Warren has anything to do with her being a woman. To quote Hannibal Lector, being female or gay is incidental. Some of his supporters have a rather religious zeal and will look for any way to attack any threats to his nomination.

I mean, to be fair, nobody on here really gave a shit about Warren. I think maybe Shoo, itc, and I have been Warren supporters?

We have a few Bernie Bros, a few early Pete adopters and one full-on Pete Pal, one Biden defector who has jumped straight to Bloomberg, and a whole lotta words that I didn't read from cville.

Don't forget about ABC and the other handful of "Bloomberg RULES" folks.

Warren is better qualified than Sanders, a progressive, and not at as much of a risk to start drooling in the forseeable future. Voters are going to choose whomever they want. But I'd sure as hell rather be in a situation where she was running with Sanders full support than having him as the nominee.

I hope he proves me wrong and ends up being a great candidate and better president.

It's called defending your candidate from unfair attacks. Unless you believe Bernie supporters should just bend over and take it? I have to admit during my time away I got some laughs and head shaking from here.

Over the past twenty years, one of the least controversial posters has been ChrisL. But because he won't kiss their butts, Townie, MHB, MDMH, Strickland, Juice and others have made the mostly boring ChrisL into a massive boogeyman and target of their vitriol.

Their posts towards him have been demanding 100% Trumpian fealty to their left wing ideas or else. Be careful what you wish for, you could drive some voters to Trump.

Way to go guys!!! Who would ever thought ChrisL would engender such hate and attacks, but you've done it.
