I have not spoken to Wes nor do I think that's cool at all for folks to be texting or calling him or Currie. All I have done here is report exactly what is told to me and by whom in as much detail as permitted by the source--which I presume is exactly want Connor and Les are doing.

Pretty much everyone on here said "I really like Forbes if....". Well, maybe the "if" part isn't going to work. I have no inside info what so ever, but I would imagine a conversation with Forbes would have involved winning at Wake w/out JUCOs. Perhaps Forbes said that's just crazy.

Would rather have Odom or Prosser than Amaker. They are young with upside at least. Western Carolina is thrilled to have Prosser. Amaker is known mediocrity with no personality. Well on his way to being Bzzz/Manning pt 3. You can see the writing in the wall with him.

WCU has been a fun team to follow under Prosser. He has only coached there for two years and has turned things around quickly. 7-25 in 2019; 19-12 this past year. They push it all of the time, but just like his Dad's teams, defense is an issue. With only two seasons as a HC at the mid-major level, Prosser needs a couple of more years to prove himself before stepping up to another level. Early returns are promising.
 
This is so confusing. Really liked seeing Kelsey walking around at Rusty league very positive energy. Would take him over Amaker.

I'd take you over Amaker. You haven't proven to be a failure at a P6 school.
 
How can “sources” have such polar opposite sauce. One is saying Forbes and Wes are out, and the other is saying Forbes and Wes are the favorites. I’m going to stick with Les and Goodman.

I'd absolutely take Kelsey over Amaker. At least Kelsey brings some hope and excitement. We know what we're getting with Amaker. Mediocrity.

Academic side? What a load of shit. Wake stopped being about academics a decade ago.

The last two coaches, who Hatch and Wellman handpicked, shuffled kids in and out so often that Forsyth Tech has a higher APR.

Didn't Roy make some comments along these lines just days (maybe weeks) before he was announced as the new head coach in Chapel Hill?
 
Although I can see the justification being used to hire another flaccid coach because it shields the people who run Wake from accountability moving forward.

The school really is run by massive losers.

So, double hearsay. Doesn't mean it's not true however. Let's hope more thought is given to writing the contract this time around.
