I feel like there should be more spots for people who could plausibly be candidates in 2024 or 2028. Pressley, Katie Porter, Kirsten Gillibrand would be better than both Clintons, Pelosi, and Schumer. The last Dem candidate who won was introduced to the general public at a national convention, but afterwards the Dems decided to stop doing that to clear the way for Hillary.
Why can’t the Dems just let pelosi and Schumer pull the strings from behind the scenes rather than trot them out in front of the camera

It also seems like the convention for a candidate pitching himself as a bridge to the future should feature some of the voices of the future.
There is an opening now with a speaker being picked as VP. Let's see what they do with it!
Gotta say, it's weird seeing Dems jerking themselves off praising Kamala when those exact same Dems didn't give a shit about her 8 months ago. If voters and donors were so excited about putting a black woman on the ticket, they sure didn't make it happen.
Gotta say, it's weird seeing people who follow politics think it's crazy for a presidential nominee to pick a VP who didn't gain enough traction in the primary.
Because those two bring in tons of donor money. Until the party moves to make campaign finance reform a reality they'll control the party.
This is kinda archaic thinking though. There are other ways of bringing in money.
Good. I hope the far left message of the party is marginalized as much as possible in the name of winning the fucking election. THAT is what matters. Not some utopian pipe dream.
