Yeah they're docile but can't overwinter for shit. Crazy how much propolis they make. Think I'm going to stay away from any of the major strains though, none of them can handle mites worth a shit. Only needed a veil for the russians and MSH until it started cooling off, and I don't keep them at home so I don't mind them being defensive. I have a couple first year package italians here at my house so I have some to watch from the porch but I expect to need to replace them next year if the weather gets too tough. You should get on a swarm list and try to catch some ferals if you have the space. I've had great luck with them - huge producers and overwinter better. But they need their space. Catching swarms is also probably the most fun thing about keeping bees

anyways I'll be in the houston area in the spring to help a friend get her dad set up, happy to help you too. installing packages is fun but if you have the $$ we can just get a beaweaver nuc and you can start with the cream of the crop
 
If I had to guess I'd say bym, evo, cream. Evo and cream don't know better and bym would go for the power play. Maybe ryala but I doubt it
 
Evo was good back in the day, but this kinda tone right off the bat as maf would be hard. If he can do it then tip the cap

publix is great dude. but people that think that their state or town or whatever the fuck is better than another because it has a certain type of grocery store...sucks to suck

tequila by itself sucks butthole, but palomas are my god
 
publix isn't even remotely remarkable. I'm sorry that you live somewhere that you can only get good subs at a grocery store.

Are all people from Florida jhawk? I feel like more than one person has told me about a chicken tender sub from Publix like it was lifechanging. I'm assuming they're dino nuggets because I was a good boy this week

I once went to a UF-UGA game in Jacksonville with my buddy who is a UF grad. Apparently, like, all the bars there have a name for a redbull vodka that you shotgun. They open it up, throw some vodka in there and let it go. I legit don't understand that state, but I think it was fun.

No one who has seen ryala/jtp/me claim masons every game makes that much of a fuss about it and then completely disappears in the overnight without talking about food at all
