2020 Presidential Election: Biden v. Trump

To be fair... Joy Ann Reid cut me a nice check after I helped to locate and apprehend the time traveling hackers responsible for writing all of the homophobic slurs on her blog.

That’s part of my problem with it. The police in the hypothetical future of the Meidas ad is the same police that exists currently. And they already are enforcing unjust laws and doing way worse shit. It’s the same police.

The ad is portraying the US if Trump wins. Why would the police be different?

The police are the same but white women who currently feel safe are threatened. That’s the point.

Man that is effing brutal. And completely realistic.

I was listening to an NPR Podcast a while back and the guest was a longtime Republican political consultant, Stuart Stevens, who had previously made ads and had now written a book called "It Was All a Lie" about how the GOP's stated objectives ended up just being, well, a bunch of lies. He said in the interview that the people who were now left working as consultants for the Trump campaign were well known and they were the people who no one would hire before. That's why you're seeing the effectiveness of these Lincoln Project ads. They were the Republican consultant talent.

That didn't last for long. The site is back up now.

The Republican Party is an incredibly cynical organization. It now exists for the benefit of the privileged few, and to sustain its existence fear and regressive social causes are paraded as meaningful. The ones pulling the strings give no fucks about issues like abortion. They will always have access to them. They prey on poor white people, just like their leader.

When you advertise they can pull the plug quickly.

Gotta say though, if the real october surprise is a dump of internal trump secret info days before the election... i wouldn't mind.

It’s not an anti police add, it’s an anti anti-abortion add.

I wish "news" networks and reporters would stop using BREAKING for speculation.

So I got a buddy (long time Dem) who as long as I've known him (40+) has always picked the Prez election right.

He always waits a week before and let us all know. He just emailed us; his pick.

Trump. Dems picked the wrong candidate in Biden.

I disagree; just saying.

I contributed $100 to the Biden campaign to participate in a West Wing online trivia night. It said they'd send me info on how to join 24 hours before. Never happened! Scam! Corrupt!!! No wonder they're able to outspend Trump so easily!!!

Refund requested. Will provide updates to this important development.

I'm cool with cannabis being legal, but this whole campaign that it's just this harmless thing is whack. The last time I smoked weed I ended up taking 45 minutes trying to figure out how to take a shit. Then again the only time I take weed is when I'm wasted already.... but those two do not mix well AT ALL. Also, the only time I've ever been knocked unconscious was when a dude that was high crashed into us when I was 16 while high and trying to pass us as we were making a sharp left turn. Woke up from my unconscious self to see inside the driver of my car's (my best friend's) skull.

But it's not materially different than alcohol.

It’s literally materially different than alcohol.
