Official Election Month Thread: COUP falls short, nothing to see here

nearly 300,000 votes will go uncounted due to Republicans fucking with the USPS. Those would have affected senate races. Better destroy them quick pubs so they can't be counted for history.

And thats only what the USPO has admitted to.

Still likely that a court could authorize them being counted since the USPS would have deliberately gone against a court order to scrub facilities and collect all ballots. Of course, that will get struck down 5-4 at the SCOTUS with Roberts dissenting to save face.

I was very surprised he didn’t run this year.

Is New York Senator Chuck Schumer running Democratic politics in North Carolina?

North Carolina Democratic State Senator Jeff Jackson believes so. He met with Schumer earlier this year to lay out his plan to run a barnstorming campaign with public events across the state only to have Schumer summarily dismiss it:

“Wrong answer,” Schumer said when confronted with Jackson’s grassroots strategy, according to the account of their conversation Jackson gave at UNC Charlotte. “We want you to spend the next 16 months in a windowless basement raising money and then we’re going to spend 80 percent of it on negative ads about Tillis.”

That was enough for Jackson, who disagreed with Schumer’s strategy but believed that he could not win without his support, to stay out of the race

I'm surprised that you don't believe that the thought the Country was being overly influenced by the Left, was not a major factor in voters pulling the Pub lever across the Country.
No argument about Biden, but the fact that Sanders and the Squad continued to speak to their upcoming "opportunities" in a new Administration, alienated millions.
And though I believe most Pubs feel that Trump could have done so many things better in handling the pandemic, it just wasn't a strong enough to have them switch to Biden.

Sanders and the "Squad" don't control the Democratic Party, although you'd never know that from listening to right-wing media. I suppose progressives should just keep their mouths shut and abandon politics so millions won't be alienated by having Fox News inaccurately present them as the voice of the Democratic Party. The only area where Democrats have been "winning" recently is the culture wars, and that's exactly what has Republicans so riled up, and one reason why they love Trump so - they think he can turn the tide even here. Again, Joe Biden is no radical, and neither is his party. Republicans run this same shit every four years, and the base laps it up. Anything barely to the left of center - like Obamacare - is presented as a socialist threat to the republic.

per NYT: The margin needs to be less than 1 percent for a recount in Wisconsin. Trump will have to pay about $3 million for it unless the margin is less than one quarter of 1 percent.

Christ. Any white person who's been in the Democratic Party leadership for the last decade should be chucked out of power. They are all out of touch losers, who only stay in power because they represent gerrymandered districts.

That's exactly the point I made earlier today - the Democratic leadership pushes abandoning the grassroots, nuts-and-bolts and just wants to run lots and lots of ads. Jesus, and Democrats wonder why they keep losing elections. "Wrong answer" - I wonder what Schumer is thinking now that he'll still be the minority leader and will remain McConnell's bitch for the next two years.

+1. Schumer is definitely among the worst, though. Useless.

Schumer and Nancy have to be gone. They're completely out of touch with modern fundraising and that's supposed to be their big advantage. Biden is going to win the popular vote by a strong margin and Democrats are going to lose House seats and lose a bunch of close winnable Senate seats. Can't repeat the same mistake in 2022.

biden gonna fuck around and win PA, NC, and GA

Obv you guys would know more about the outstanding votes in NC and what that is going to lean, but the info I'm seeing out of GA seems to agree with that, tentatively optimistic.
