Do you remember when John Mccrae wanted only guys with mustaches to sing along and there was a dude on the front row with a mustache that didn’t know the lyrics, so Mccrae got pissed and walked off the stage for a while?

No, I was just speaking generally about Cake being awesome. I was definitely not in attendance.
 
Actually, if I’m being real, my favorite alternative song is probably Hey Sandy by Polaris.

You might know it as the Pete and Pete theme song. Actually, every song that they recorded for that show was badass.

yeah at this point looking back, what all was it the alternative to, metal? seems like most alt-rock hits were the main rock hits unless I'm misremembering.

Santa Monica is the best Everclear Song though, and Wildflower is Tom Petty's best. Good job CT.
