Should be eliminated forever from the Boards vocabulary.
 
That one isn't as bad as "breaking contain." Who is the fucking brain-dead, fuckstained, buzzard queef who came up with that stupid abortion of a grammatically insane term?!?

"Contain" is not a noun. Never has been. And if we stand up and stop these fucking sports morons from wreaking havoc on our language, it never will. It's a goddamned verb. Add the "-ment" to the end, stop being a lazy fuckstick, and call it "containment."
 
no one says that on the boards, though.

wgaf about "outkick?" my only problem with it are the uncomfortable times when the wife clearly is not an outkick situation

Also "safety help over the top". Over the top of what? Wrong geometric plane, dipshit. Howabout: he has a safety behind him?
 
I love how some responses are related to actual football, while the OP was clearly about the non-football use of the term.

I don't have a problem with it, mostly because there's no alternative.

I'm not disputing either of those, but rather pointing out that "out of her league" or "she traded up" implies that the girl is ugly, which a) isn't the case for any of the girls here and b) is impossible with any of the guys here.

Yeah, it was just a rant-trigger for me. I totally agree with the OP. It's a stupid fucking term. I have yet to see a hot chick with any guy that I said "yeah, she should be with him." Men are ugly fucking apes. Period.

I'm starting to come around to this camp, esp since I realize now that chicks don't necessarily go only for looks.
They are also attracted to money and power and I have none.

If you can get the girl, she's not out of your league. If she was out of your league, you wouldn't be with her.
 
it's not about league; it's about gently ribbing friends by saying your wife is attractive while you are not.

it's only a stupid concept if you sit around and analyze it beyond "it's a small-talk joke that let's a person compliment a guy while still mocking him"

the fact that it gets mentioned about every wife posted on here makes it stupid.

You seem to be debating the most of the wives/gfs of men around here are better looking than their men proposition than the most of the men around here are troll ugly proposition.
