MBB Game 16: Cuse Is In The House - Saturday 2 pm - Bally Sports

Cuss sucks. This is a good matchup for us. I expect a 12-15 point win. They have 0 answer for Williams or LaRavia in particular. We don’t even have to shoot well from outside in this game. If we play decent defense, we’ll be fine.

They need to shoot 55%+ from 3 to have a chance.

Delete that last sentence man!

We have Hulu Live for TV and not cable so I think that’s the problem.

Skip Starbucks for the month and Get cable promo for the next 3 months and enjoy. Spectrum $44/. You don’t want to miss this renaissance

I recently switched to DirectTV streaming to get Bally. However, prior I had success using a VPN. Log into the VPN and then fire up the ESPN app.

I need to figure something out. We had Spectrum cable for awhile but it was just terrible as a product, ended up getting really expensive and we never watched most of the stuff. Also need to just make it out to a few games.

VPN is the way to go if you can't just go to the games.

Posted this on another thread:

"YTTV subscriber here also. I signed up for a free account with ProtonVPN last night and installed it on Android phone and Google Chromecast with TV. You get less server options with the free account, but I was still able to keep trying them(they don't list what part of the country they are in) until I got one that had the game not blacked out on the ESPN app via ACCNX.

A little bit of work up front but really not too bad."

I stream Hulu but I kept the most basic Spectrum cable — basically the four channels I grew up with.

I never watch it, but at times like this I use that sign in to be able to watch games. It’s bundled with my internet. I figured out one time that dropping the very basic cable would cost me more to pay for just internet.

I returned to Spectrum during the Disney/YTTV dispute to get Bally South for the Deacon games and Bally Ohio for the Reds/Cubs baseball games. The price for the Spectrum bundle has dropped a lot and their line up is improved. I've been watching programing not available on YTTV a lot and the music channels have always been used. Decided to keep YTTV as well since I have two other families on my account. Fact is, YTTV has the best program recording on the market. Set it, forget it and it's always available.

I also just got DirectTV Stream. I had Hulu but since they won't get Bally, I dropped them. I want to watch the Braves, United, Hawks and any Wake games that end up there.

I like how the YTTV DVR app gives zero fucks. When I added MLB Extra Innings last year and hit record on the first Braves game I started watching, it pops up a screen and says "Do you want to record All Braves Events, All [Opponent] Event, or All MLB Games.

I was really tempted to say yes to ALL MLB GAMES just to see what would happen. Many have dual feeds for the audio, it'd be over 5,000 recordings. I think I set it to record the Simpsons once not realizing one of those marathons was going on and it recorded like 587 episodes.

You can get it via Hulu through the ESPN+ channels that are a part of Hulu with your ESPN+ subscription, however just as with streaming directly through ESPN it is blacked out if your local RSN (Bally) is carrying the game. For example, in New Jersey YES Network is our version of Bally and is not carried by Hulu. If the Nets are playing at the time on YES and it's not showing Wake, I'll be able to watch through ESPN+, but if Wake is playing on YES I can't watch.

So if I do the VPN thing and login to ESPN+ there is a chance I can watch the game on my laptop but if I attempt it through my streaming stick it won't let me since Bally is my RSN, correct?

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of high level d1 coach who had two sons playing for him at the same time. The fact that the coach is 77 makes that even more strange.

If we can get our 3 pt. shots to fall, we should dominate Syracuse.

Not even necessary to win, dominate yes. They just need to not catch fire from 3. They did against Miami and still lost.

They have size, but are awful at 2PT defense which plays into our strength. The only thing that sticks out is they give up very few FTA attempts. Besides that, they are putrid defensively and have been poop away from the Carrier Dome, 2-5 overall with wins against a weak ASU team and a 3-point nailbiter against FSU when the Noles were terrible from 3-point range.

Expect a double-digit W.

So, if we get a lot of paint touches, we should win handily.

It’s not that strange. He married a hot woman 22 years younger than him who wanted kids and two boys turned out to be good basketball players.

It may have been on the old scout board, but there was a "who would win in a fight" thread about ACC basketball coaches. One description of Boeheim was that he seemed like a dude who walks around like he has a giant dong. I still laugh about that occasionally when I see this dude coaching LOL.
