Is $200 a ticket reasonable for a concert these days? Context, the Turnpike Troubadours are back together after a hiatus and are doing two shows at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth (world's largest honky tonk). Considering Covid and children, I have not been to a concert since 2019. Tickets sold out for these shows in 5 minutes. Secondary market is asking $200 for GA.
My wife and I agree these guys were probably the best show we ever saw together. I am sure for the Stones or Dylan or Taylor 200 is cheap, but this is an Oklahoma band that never really got national recognition.
Seems nutty to me. Also this is the band where I bought scam tickets from a guy on Craigslist in DC who sold the same ticket to like 20 people.
