The Masters 2022 Official Thread

I got tickets for the '07 Tuesday PR in the lottery. You can easily buy PR tixs from guys like DR on Washington Rd. Keep in mind there is no refund if it rains. You are SOL.

I was in Augusta over the weekend. The dogwoods and azaleas are in full bloom. Might not be a lot of color left by the time the toonamint starts next week.

The wife tells me she thinks the badges cost us either $325 or $375 each this year. She paid it with cc so she can't remember.

As someone who is both poor and completely without shame since all you people are giving free tickets away I’ll take one. And then Ill leach off of DR because everyone says he’s actually a pretty good hang irl.

And I’ll crash at ATS’s house. This is perfect I’m gonna go ask my wife for permission.

Having attended last year when the course was around 25% capacity with no grandstands was pretty much the best Masters experience I've ever had. You could listen to the golfers talk about their putts then follow them to the next tee and wait for them on the next green if you wanted. So I'm pretty spoiled by that.

Charlotte would be closer than ATS's house in the forest. You can stay with Diggler.

This is a stupid thing to climb up DR's ass about. He very clearly said "this Saturday" and to anyone seriously contemplating a trip to Augusta they would know that would be for the ANWA, and they would jump on a chance to see the course without the huge crowds and for a fraction of the cost.

Some friends and I were trying to find tee times in the Pinehurst area this Saturday and may now just head down to Augusta and spend a day walking around there instead of overpaying for an overbooked PH area course with springtime rates.

Question for DR - Do they have the typical Masters concessions running for the ANWA, obviously at smaller scale? Merch pavilion for the masters open early?

At this point DR is clearly in RJ “hijack every thread and make it about me” mode. I vote we ban him.

I thought DR was a lawyer or some shit. Is he a ticket broker also?

Sorry LK, he is not stupid and knew what he was doing. No one on the thread was talking about seeing the course at Augusta, they were talking about going to the Master's - two different things.

The womens am is my favorite day of the week. You can see everything. Their is solid competition on the back 9. The store is fully stocked.

I hate I’m missing it this year due to having to work in NOLA.

You folks are missing out.

Oh I couldn’t agree more. Went to the inaugural following Kupcho around. Amazing. Tickets were only $75, Course was empty and in all its splendor. Great day.
