Ukraine is game to you?

We should start training the Ukrainians on NATO equipment so we’re less limited in what we give.

This war isn’t ending anytime soon.

We’re already doing that with some systems like artillery. We may be doing it clandestinely with more.

Is Russia going to feel any backlash from the World for the impact they are having on the World's food supply? While many of those most effected do not have the resources to retaliate, much of the World should be really pissed off at Russia in the coming months.

I think they will and already have. And the food crisis angle looks very real.

1 - Inventories globally are at record lows - largely because of droughts in the Northern Hemisphere.
2 - Food demand is inelastic and is at record highs
3 - Of the grain produced and exported to feed humans - Ukraine supplies 1/3rd of it. They export 80M tonnes a year. I presume farmers will still try to plant and tend to their fields. But hard to envision production not being significantly impacted during a war. Even if we presume Russian production is not impacted at all (big presumption), the expected shortfall isn't getting made up by anyone.
4 - At least right now commercial shipping in the Black Sea is no where close to normal levels and both Russia and Ukraine move the vast majority of their food exports through the Black Sea. So even for the food that is produced, getting it delivered is another issue that has to get sorted.

Can't stop laughing at the Russian agent planting 3 copies of " The Sims" rather than sim cards when trying to prove Ukrainian sabotage.

If you have not watched the movie Navalny yet, it is worth it. Here's a different source video (with subtitles) of him getting a direct confession over the phone of one of the guys who tried to kill him. As background -

1 - He was poisoned.
2 - The poison took effect during a flight.
3 - The flight was diverted and landed early.
4 - His life was saved as a result.
5 - Overtime bellingcat determined who was involved in the poisoning (this is the same guy who uncovered a similar poisoning by Russia in the UK). belingcat then worked with Navalny's team to get more details.
6 - Navalny and belingcat released a video and got CNN and others to report in detail about who poisoned him shortly before Putin had an annual press conference.
7 - At Putin's annual press conference he denied Navalny was poisoned.
8 - Navalny had this video in reserve expecting Putin would deny any involvement.

Oops.

Or the folds in the T-Shirts. Everything just happens to be brand new. What a coincidence. In other news, the "journos" on Russian state TV report they've been getting threats and Putin has said the CIA may try and kill them. Given all the projection the Russians do with their propaganda, those folks are probably worried some poison is coming their way.

Oh man, Biden tricked Putin into starting a war so it would lead to a regime change?
