Wake Golf 2024 - Women’s ACC Tournament April 18-21; Men's ACCT April 19-22

Women's team #1 seed in the Vanderbilt regional.
 
How the fuck had Wake not won a title in 33 years?
 
She also just won ACC POY, Chacarra got FOY and Kim got COY. Studs.
 
So next year the women's team could be bringing everybody back adding a first team all american player and bringing another world top 100 amateur recruit. even if Kuehn doesn't come back this will be one of the national title favorites.

You never know, but I would expect Kuehn to comeback to WF. Both of her parents are alums, her Mom is one of WF's greatest golfers ever; competing for WF is a big deal. Also, as reflected by Kuehn's play in this week's LPGA event, making money on the LPGA tour is so hard. The purses are miniscule compared to the PGA, and there is so much competition. Really hard to make living on the LPGA tour unless you are a top player.
 
That's a favorable draw. You can bank on Illinois advancing, so we are battling for 4 spots.
 
LK why do you say that about Illinois? I know they are a ranked team but just curious why you say that. Their coach Mike Small is probably the best player among coaches in the country.
 
Any guidance on TV options for the tournament? Golf Channel? Some part of ESPN?

In the past, the Golf Channel televised both the men's and women's NCAA Championship, stroke play and match play, but not the regionals. That said, GC has ramped up its NCAA golf coverage recently so you never know.

Also, the WF women start their NCAAT run this Monday through Wedensday (May 9-11) at Vandy. WF is the top seed at the Nashville regional and the top 4 teams (out of 12) advance. https://godeacs.com/news/2022/4/27/womens-golf-wake-forest-selected-as-top-seed-at-franklin-ncaa-regional-site.aspx

Because they have advanced out regionals for 13 straight seasons.
