Video Game Thread - $70 Zelda Expansion!

This is the game I that is going to make me get the new X-Box. Then I'll probably try Elden Ring and I'll re-play Resident Evil Village.

I almost got one for Cyberpunk launch and was glad I didn’t (didn’t get the game either)

But I bought cyberpunk a month ago on sale after thr major patching and it’s fun but wish I were playing it on a more powerful rig

Can confirm that the new TMNT game is really fun and brings back fond memories of losing quarters in the arcade and playing on NES

I want to play it. Hope they do X-Men next.

A buddy of mine had his 50th birthday party at The Main Event (like a Dave & Busters). He got an unlimited play card and the rest of us got one hour of play. He and a friend beat the new TMNT arcade game. It was pretty awesome.

I’d love to see them do X-Men next. Same early 90s era but more characters.

all of my ACADEMIC friends are currently doing some online coop while I work a normal office job like a punk

What game? Is it what the cool non-dork academics are playing?

TMNT online coop does seem pretty cool.

An X-Men version of this TMNT could have so much staying power. Unlimited characters, new levels for DLC. The simple game play gives it an edge on something like Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Ultimate Alliance was good stuff.

I played it’s early version X-Men Legends. I tried Ultimate Alliance 3 but got annoyed trying to remember the movesets of all the characters.

I lump all those together at this point. Fun but don't really recall details.

Sniper Elite 5 is a lot of fun; I liked 4 a lot and this one seems less game-y. Less “perfect sniping spot to perfect sniping spot” arcade stuff.

Could go on this thread or the Parenting Thread - Nintendo Switch Sports is the first video game that my 6 year old has really latched onto. He has watched me play Mario Kart and Mario platformers before but hasn't shown interest in playing until now. He would spend hours playing if we let him. He is loving constantly changing his character's name, clothes, hair, etc. And he bowled a fucking 231, which is way better than my PR.
