If you are into typeface/design the Helvetica doc that came out sometime in the aughts is a good time.

if you watch the clip the terse message and deadpan delivery kinda giveaway that it's poking fun at comedians who rely on transphobic jokes for humor (see: like two pages ago)

Left that job in the summer of 2020 to have more time with my family, avoid the covid uncertainty of that industry, and try my hand at executive leadership. I had a better opportunity with another local not for profit come up late last year, and I started here first of the year. More of a back office role in Finance and HR. Basically got a 30% raise + benefits, a lot less stress, and even better work/life balance. Hard to pass up.
 
Congrats. Such a game changer. It's been about 18 mos in my new role but my w/l balance is so much better. Remote work whenever i want. 30% travel then. now none. Officially 37 hr weeks but half day Fridays. Previously checking emails after kids in bed. Working on planes and in hotel. 12 hour days were not uncommon.

i will say, having watched a bit of nothing, forever the other day, the "transphobic standup set" actually sounds like it was one of the more coherent things the AI has put together, so that's terrifying

also the problem here is that the second sentence is only true if the AI understands irony (or at least LAYERS), which it probably doesn't

what if the AI was just kind of riffing at face value; how do we tell the difference
 
There’s a “plant based pizza” place that opened up down the street from me. What the hell would that be ?

the AI doesn't understand anything
it's a parrot
it's parroting irony when it says "I think I will tell some jokes about how transpeople are ruining the fabric of society"
