I'm saying that the same strain of woke mind virus that encourages people to identify as whatever they want and that any feeling is valid (no objective truth) has led to a fringe movement in leftist academic circles that pedophiles are actually just Minor Attracted Persons.

It's not a stretch from arguing it's valid for someone to identify as a zim/zir or a werewolf to making excuses for pedophiles. After all, a pedophile identifies as someone attracted to minors, and all feelings and identities are valid!

I was playing out the lunatic logic of a woke leftist mind. Clearly I don't agree. I honestly think chemical castration should be one of the punishments for convicted pedophiles and perhaps even rapists in cases where there is 0 doubt. Prison time is not enough of a deterrent. Yet some call chemical castration drugs "puberty blockers" and call it "life-affirming." It's the same drugs, in case y'all didn't know.

It matters because it's an attempt to normalize and reduce the stigma of being a pedophile. And it's not the pedophiles who are rebranding themselves, it's the woke leftist idiots.
 
Why would anybody think "Minor Attracted Persons" is normal? I googled it. Every link is either saying MAP = pedophile or referencing one sex therapist in 2021.

Seems like something conservatives keep repeating to each other to make it a big deal in their circles.

Well when the next Republican molests a minor, they can point to one thing this one sex therapist said in 2021 that they keep repeating to show it's a "both sides" issue.

No one, absofuckinglutely no one, see a trans person getting an award and thinks “oh cool, I want awards too, maybe I’ll try being trans.” But, a closeted trans kids, afraid of and ashamed of who they are sees a trans person getting an award and they might think “oh wow, maybe it is safe for me to express who i really am.” Fuck off with this “groomer-drag-show-turned-my-kid-trans” or “a book that talked about penises turned my kid gay!” garbage. It’s absolute garbage. Our kids are already, gay, straight, or trans or whatever and the books and the the drag shows only tell them it’s ok to be who you are. Hallelujah! Holy shit! Where’s the Tylenol?
