All this game lacks is an appearance and goal by Spiderman to chef's kiss the performance.
He’s better than you and he knows it. But also he’s not exactly taken the hard way to his successes which is what some people hold against him. Potentially fraudulent, definitively bald. What's Pep's deal ? bad guy or just "deservedly" condescending ? educate the noob please
I don't think he's a bad guy, just one of those insane genius types that probably struggles relating to "normal" folks, but also likes to pretend he doesn't have any real advantages with the spending ability he has. I sort of get it, I think he could probably win anywhere, but he sometimes takes legit questions about City's ownership oddly personally. What's Pep's deal ? bad guy or just "deservedly" condescending ? educate the noob please
Soccer Phil Jackson...He’s better than you and he knows it. But also he’s not exactly taken the hard way to his successes which is what some people hold against him. Potentially fraudulent, definitively bald.
Blah, Boston announcers are all huge homers and its awful. Give me neutral announcers who love the sport every day.Lee Dixon is absolutely cracking me up. American commentators should learn from it. Unabashedly biased and proud of it.
Partey's been a shadow of himself recently- he's gotta be hurt. Caicedo and Rice would be amazing. Where else can you see an upgrade? Is challenging City even possible next year or are they too far away?We won’t know until after the game but I don’t think Partey is fully fit. He came up a little gimpy after a challenge early in the game and has looked a step slower than usual since. Still not covering himself in glory, though. Really hope we get Caicedo and Rice over the line this summer because we need freshness and depth in the midfield.
It's likely that we will need a new backup LB as Tierney is probably moving on. Could also do with additional depth at the #8 position, I'm not sure how much weight to give the Mount rumors but he's the age profile, position profile, and reportedly character profile that Arteta likes so it makes sense. Fresneda is being rumored as well at RB, it's entirely possible we bring in an additional 2-3 defenders total.Partey's been a shadow of himself recently- he's gotta be hurt. Guess that's all in how you define "over performing"Also when did Pep ever have a team that wasn't considered the favorite or 2nd favorite team to win the league? Genius is so freely given for a guy who gets results from the most talented squads. He's a good/great manager for getting results, but he's never over performing really.
Dicey one for Liverpool, who just hang on. Thiago lucky to not give away a handball in the box late, which I think was probably just the right call, but it was weird because it hits his arm twice. Bowen also had one taken off for an offside when Van Dijk was just way to casual (shocker). Liverpool probably better on the balance, but not great.
Not the best match I've ever seen. But a continued decent run for Liverpool. Almost definitely too late for a Champions League spot, but a Europa place would be an ok finish for how they started.
I thought it was close, but his lunge plays it off the attacker, which then ricochets off his arm for the double hit, in pretty close proximity. That should have been a penalty. I’m not sure how we got from the last women’s World Cup where if the ball sniffed anyone’s upper body it’s a PK to Thiago double trapping the ball with an outstretched arm but yeah, here we are.
