You still overate Griffis. He has plenty of tape showing he can’t do the job. If he lands high G5, it will be as a security blanket backup.

I think you're right about overrating him. The Elon game makes me think that's about the correct level.

I don't think Griffis is going to land in a great situation. He was basically the worst starting quarterback in the P5 this season. He's 5'10", he doesn't have a great arm, he doesn't know how or when to run, and after three years in the system he can't execute his coaches' wishes, regardless of protection. I would think every OC in America believes they can develop a guy on their own roster to that level.
