He's not 100% wrong, but he's matt rhule and he's trying to get elite talent with options to move to fucking nebraska.
and the problem is that if he does get a quarterback at Nebraska and they do develop into a good QB, they are going to jump ship to a better program/more $$$, leaving them in the exact same spot.

"Better program, it's freaking Nebraska!" says the echo of days long gone by.

Looks like we're losing grad LB turned DE Jaylen Hudson and his four tackles from this season. Did work in the community on literacy and Freedom School. Sorry if already reported.

His injury this year really tanked his transition to DE, which I thought was a positive move.

FWIW, I don't think our offensive line was as awful as many have posted.

Griffis did not have pocket presence. You need a QB who can work from a dirty pocket. Every good QB does.
Maybe, but we had some super weak spots. Clapp was poor at LT, and his backups when he got injured again (surprise) were even worse. RG was a struggle.

Also, not on the o-line, but the TE and RB blocking sucked so teams just sent more numbers. Overall protection was a struggle.

It definitely wasn't good, just don't think it was the biggest problem. Next year looks way more concerning for the line, on paper, than this season.

When Mooch and Kern played, the oline suddenly looked improved.

And the one game Mitch did look decent - Duke - we were moving the ball fine until he couldn't hold onto the football. Not because of pressure, just his own mistakes.

I agree we don't have a good answer when teams send pressure. This became an issue halfway through the last Hartman season, and we still don't have an answer.

The answer by every program in the nation is short quick passes. We rarely called for it. Very stupid.

Brosmer is 6-2 221 and from Roswell, GA. Guessing Biff approves.

New Hampshire played one FBS team this past season, CMU who finished 5-7 in the MAC. Against CMU, Brosmer was 32 of 51 for 493 yards. 4 TDs and 1 pick. Doesn't look like he's much of running threat, except around the goal-line (5 rushing TDs).

UNH throws alot too. Not much of a runner, but he had 5 games where he attempted over 45 passes. He also has offers from Western Michigan, Buffalo, Minnesota, and Western Kentucky.

Gotta beat out the Gophers for Brosmer; we could have 3 Georgia QB's battling Kern for PT

Take it to the QB chatter thread where the news was broken first ya donks

Grimes hitting the portal is bad news.

Unless, that means Donavon Greene is healthy and returning next season and the freshmen behind him are progressing past him.

That one hurts. Interesting that he has only two years of eligibility left. Usually WF is very careful about not wasting a year. In 2022, Grimes played in 7 games, but only recorded a stat in 4. So, that counts as year of eligibility.

Grimes had a difficult year, but I have to think he's going to be very good. If this was a product of having to prioritize NIL money, I'd take Key over him in a heartbeat.

ETA: we also have some serious WR talent coming in

Yeah this one could go either way- doomsday or a "good for him" moment. Really depends on where he lands and how he does next year for me to make that judgment call, i.e. is this a Nolan Groulx transfer or KW3 Transfer? I think Grimes showed some flashes this year but wasn't nearly as good as we had all hoped. Granted- some of that wasn't his fault with other offensive issues but he had a lot of big drops.

Yeah receiver is interesting with the following players eligible to come back:

Banks
Key
Morin
Alexander
Fields
Morrill
Greene

Plus, WF's top rated 2024 recruit is a receiver too: Jeremiah Melvin. Also, know that the staff loves the other WR recruit, Ben Grice.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up at NC State but who knows
