Supposedly Boyle is some sort of QB guru who coaches liked having around.

Still doesn't make sense to me why you have him as a player and not a coach in that case

Not trying to steer this thread off topic, but feel compelled to post Tim Boyle's college stats below. They are unedited, and unbelievable. Honestly, he makes Mitch Griffis look like a combination of Tom Brady and Lamar Jackson.

Oof yeah this is not good.

Gotta keep Morin. Gotta hope Banks and Greene come back. Hopefully Fields is a legit baller. Micah Mays isn't a scrub...I'm sure we won't feel his loss as much as it just sucks, knowing how talented the dude is

Not good. I don’t think it’s a coincidence WR’s are leaving with Higgins moving to a new role. I bet they said - we’ll give new guy a year and if it doesn’t work out - we’re out. Well- offense clearly isn’t same without Higgins so can’t say I blame these guys for moving on.

Love Morin but if it comes down to NIL dollars- Banks and Greene are much more important IMO

It is telling that neither departing WRs mentioned Confessor. From a receivers perspective this season was a wasted year, so I am not optimistic about returning many guys.

In a Hartman led offense where we are stretching the field, I’d agree, but in an offense where we are making 3 step drops and throwing the ball quickly within 7-9 yards, we need Morin more. I don’t imagine us having the Oline next season for a lot of deep balls.

I’m sure Higgins changing roles doesn’t help, but I’d guess the biggest issue for our WRs would be not knowing who the QB will be next year and also being pretty pissed that Clawson didn’t make a change from Mitch sooner.

Key is a stud. I’d be pretty damn upset if my head coach came out and defended an absolutely horrible QB and then said stuff like the WRs need to get more separation and the OL/RBs need to do a better job protecting him. Hate to see him go - he’s been by far one of my favorite players in the WR room the last few years and he’s going to light it up wherever he goes.

Wouldn't shock me if we snag a proven receiver in the portal for Depth.

If we somehow bring Greene, Banks and Morin back, with the young guys behind them, that's still somehow an elite ACC receiving room.

Imagine you took a job and had been there for 3 years in a rhythm and then the guy that hired you moved to another managerial position in the company and they brought in someone new for you to report to that came from a completely different type of company in same industry. You gave the new boss a year but then it became clear something wasn’t working and your voice seemed to be lost with upper management- what would you do?

That is the logical offensive gameplan. It is not the gameplan that I have any faith that we will implement given this year.
