I hope we don't take a QB and save it for a huge OL. Still believe this is #1 priority. I'm content with Kern et al.

I'm kind of ok with that honestly. Football still starts up front. I think Kern can be more than serviceable, my concern is what would be behind him?

Why not just go get a bunch of 5 stars at every position?
If we don't have the NIL chest to get a good (read: not elite) QB and a few upgrades at OL, then Wake football is indeed doomed. I think we do based on everything I've heard (from RTQ here and from others). If we had those ~3 additional players this year, we certainly win 3+ additional games.

Getting Jasheen, Demond, Morin, Pointer, and most likey Greene back is awesome.

Demond and Jasheen probably could be gotten a hefty bag just about anywhere.

Great job, RTQ!
I totally agree - but do we know we're safe with those guys?

Freaking awesome, I missed Jasheen and Greene. Getting Donavon back healthy could really make our receiving group great!

If we get a couple of grad transfers, we're going to be the oldest team in CFB next year.

Well I meant Fields as a more than adequate replacement for Grimes, not Williams. We'll need somebody to step up there.

I think Deuce is going to be really good - Morin splitting time with him as he gets more acclimated to playing on Saturdays will work for next year. I still would rather have had Key than Morin, but we aren't left with the cupboard bare at slot.

Consistency at PR will be nice for next year too.

I'm not really content with Kern as our ceiling at QB, I especially don't wont to be resigned to him starting because other options (Gillam/Hecklinski) are too young/inexperienced if Kern isn't the answer. I would rather have another experienced arm both pushing him for the QB1 slot in offseason, and available to go if Kern is hurt (which seems likely with his frame) or his performance doesn't stay at "decent."

Depends on what is available, I'm content with him unless we are as certain as we can be we're bringing in a guy that is better. If we can't do that, then better to spend some money to block for Kern and a couple of really good running backs.

I agree - he’s a high floor low ceiling type floor option. Given what we are losing on defense, we’re gonna need a higher ceiling guy next year to get back to scoring points

I'd agree with that - don't want to reach for a QB if there is an OL/TE that we really want.
