Reading about the collapse of Red Lobster, I realized I had never been in one. I also think I have only ever been in an Olive Garden once.

went to make my wife's coffee and ran the Nespresso without a mug

then after cleaning it all up I somehow made her another extremely watered down cup with the same pod

then on attempt number 3 I forgot to put the spinny coil thing inside the frother

I have made this woman coffee every morning for the better part of 4 years. my brain is goddamn fried this morning

Sounds like you dodged one slow moving, mediocre, poorly aimed bullet.

Reused LadyYB’s used coffee grounds the other day and I didn’t notice until I had watered down coffee at work. Gross.

My left ear is compacted so if I sleep on that side, I’ll wake up and can’t hear out of it. Not great

Only time I’ve been I think was in like the 3rd grade after our class has finished studying about the ocean and sea life. Mind you I grew up in a town on the water so plenty of great cheap seafood restaurants but they decided to take the kids there. We also did a field trip to the EPA marine lab out at the beach.

That’s why y’all don’t understand the masses. You can’t truly understand the American people until you’ve gotten diarrhea from a Quincy’s. I bet @bmoneydeac has. #ManofthePeople

Well apparently red lobster didn't understand the masses either, because they lost 15 million dollars with all you can eat shrimp special. Americans would just sit in their booths for hours eating plate after plate of shrimp. So not only could the restaurant not turn tables over, they also couldn't make money off of the patrons they had seated.

Over indulgence and bad business decisions is understanding the masses about as well as possible.

So this is kind of what I find fascinating, Red Lobster was actually bought by a Thai Shrimp company that had previously been their shrimp supplier. So, the Thai company thought this would be a good way to get rid of their excess shrimp, not understanding how much Americans would actually eat.

The RL was always packed which surprised me. Real heads would go to the MARINA OYSTER BARN, a shack on a dock at a marina on Bayou Texar to eat incredible fried and steamed seafood.
