NFL Playoffs Thread

I can't believe the NFC has left us with these two shitty teams. In a year when everyone agreed that the AFC was garbage, I foresee the AFC winning the Super Bowl.

The Giants defense was amazing tonight and San Fran has a great defense.

What are you talking about

It was basically the same game we saw in the AFC playoffs with the Ravens-Texans. Good defenses, but offenses incapable of stringing together drives because they're lacking something, be it a consistent running game (Giants) or a QB (Ravens, Texans, Niners).

Giants will run fine in 2 weeks

Come on. No one expected them to tear it up against San Fran.

Do the losing Championship coaches still man the sidelines at the Pro Bowl? Have fun, Harbaughs.

49ers have an incredible D. Eli got his ass kicked all game. If they didn't play so conservative on 4th downs this would have been a SF win.

NYG MVP is Kyle Williams.

Eli is literally the luckiest QB in history. First, he was born into the Manning family which gave him a lot more rope in his career which he definitely needed. He has spent his whole career throwing balls up for grabs and having receivers bail him out. It started with Plaxico. Tyree made the literally 1 in 100 catch. Nicks on the Hail Mary. Today he threw the ball up for grabs not once, but twice where two 49ers collided to negate easy interceptions - almost impossible good fortune. He didn't score a point in the 2nd half or overtime today except on the two punt return turnovers. He has also benefitted from an excellent defense - the real reason they won a few years ago and the only reason they'll have a chance to win again in two weeks.

He isn't half the qb Peyton is, or Brady, Brees or Rogers. Yes I know they're great, but a lot of people want to put him in that category. Despite all that, I'm happy. I had the Giants +2 1/2 and I had the under.

I know the replies will focus on the Eagles as though that matters when assessing a qb. No big deal.

You think the hail mary made the real difference?

Lol

Idiot

Also, dumb fuck, Eli threw no interceptions the PLAYOFFS year they beat NE

The Tyree catch is pretty much the luckiest thing I've ever seen in sports in my 33 years.

Luck to continue the winning drive against the 17-0 Patriots?

It's not like they weren't in the game with 2 minutes to go? Luck got them there? And was it also luck to beat Dallas and Green Bay on the road?

I gave Eli a lot of shit over the years, but that being said he has definitely matured a shit ton since '07.

Although now that I've said that he's probably going to go ape shit and try to throw with his left hand again...fucker.
