According to "TheReff", that's the correct way to call a game. You must call based on the tendencies of a team and it's players. :tard:

Not to bring this thread down whatsoever, but remember when Tony Woods did this at the summer league game? That was fairly rowdy.

My favorite by far is the guy in the red shirt behind the basket. He has like a three second delay, and once he realizes what happened, he starts pointing at the backboard as if it has magical abilities.
 
Love the commentary from the HD video on page 1 - "Something just switched inside of this kid. He missed an early 2nd quarter dunk and I saw the fire just ignite inside him."

Tony Woods didn't shatter the backboard did he? He just broke the goal by pulling it down IIRC (it was a height adjustable goal/backboard).
 
nice - in addition to being in the top ten, ESPN just had a separate feature on this, with LeSean McCoy's tweets about it.

Perhaps a dumb question, but is there any video out there of ESPN's Top 10? I'd like to see the video with a SC anchor giving WF a shout-out just to make myself feel better.

i was just looking for one and didn't see anything. i think your best bet might be to tune in to espn3.com and wait for it to roll again on sportscenter.

Yea, I was afraid of that. It's funny, I watched the Top 10 on the treadmill this morning with the sound off. I remember seeing the #1 play (Devin's dunk) and thinking, "Weird; dude with the white arm sleeve looks a heckuva lot like that picture of Devin Thomas from the recruiting thread."

Had no idea at the time it actually was Devin. Now I feel like a complete idiot.
 
for those with a tv or espn3.com, a segment called "Shattered Backboard" is coming up in a couple on sportscenter.
