Retired US Soccer / World Cup Thread (RIP)

Mexico is in far better shape over the next 5 or so years than the USMNT. They will also go further than us at WC 14. It sucks, but it's true.

I will gladly bet on this. Though there's no way to make it an even bet with group difficulty varying. How about winner of WC qualifying?

I'm down for anything that doesn't cost a fortune. It could be beers or avatar/sig...whatever. I would love to give you a Brian Ching avatar for a month or two. Or maybe I heart Suarez. Anything less than $50 works for me. I don't want the US to lose and not be able to pay rent. :D
 
Why don't you all just pick DC United? I already did because I can walk to games. You can because they are a likable team with a solid group of hardcore fans that has a chance to return to the playoffs this season. Another plus is that if (most of) you feel like it you can road trip up to DC for a weekend and we can have a Saturday pregame tailgate.

I'm going to laugh when one of you gets screwed over in the late matchdays because either the US or Mexico has already qualified and plays a B team, letting the other backdoor ahead in the table.
 
You guys should just be Dynamo supporters, because we routinely have a lot of productive Americans who become NT members, and Dom is a good manager, and we get a new stadium this year, and we've had a ton of success lately but people don't take us Srsly bc we aren't LA, Seattle, or Nyrb

Except Houston is a fucking SHIT HOLE. What a terrible city that is a black mark on the great State of Texas. I hate Houston so, so much. Even moreso on Texas Independence Day. Just a terrible city filled with terrible people. Fuck off to Louisiana.
