I don't know those skis specifically, but I went with K2 Mindbenders (1 ski quiver) and was really happy with them this year. I would imagine they are another option comparable to what you listed in terms of price and performance.

I'm thinking (hoping) this album gets a 25th anniversary re-release/tour this year. Seems like the band is hinting at it. Either way, one of my all time favorite albums.

This seems like training that could be delivered remotely and/or asynchronously (self-paced).

They're young and I think they'd enjoy either/both. When my wife and I were in our mid-twenties, we went up to Myrtle for a weekend in the off-season and went to Medieval Times and had a blast. Got kind of hammered and just generally enjoyed the ordeal.

I hear you guys on it being hot and full of makos, but it's also a free (well, low cost) trip to the beach for my kids.

For those familiar with Myrtle Beach in summer time, is there an 'ideal' time of summer to go? My FIL has a condo we can use for free and we're thinking about doing 2 weeks there next summer. We'd probably go in the later half of July or first half of August - would one of those times be better...

I remember my oldest used to house some chana masala when she was like 18 months old; thinking "we did it" when it came to having a good eater. Shortly thereafter she slowly started rejecting food after food after food. Now she's 8.5 and sticks to pretty much raw veggies, fruits, (plain) noodles...

Not to dominate with Black Crowes talk, but last week Ronnie Wood (Faces) joined the band at the Greek Theater. Audio on this is pretty good (can't hear vocals well), but the the band sounds great.
