That same source texted me this morning about Cosby and I gave them the exclamation marks reaction to which they replied ‘just wait’. I think we are close on the PG announcement and am now willing to bet it’s Claude (based on what this person said). Not sure how to screenshot and redact stuff...

I don’t think so. I think Cosby and Parker would be battling each other for minutes as a deep threat. ETA: I wasn’t told that and didn’t ask. All I know is we want Cosby and the feelings are mutual. Hope we seal the deal.

Correct…recruited him pretty hard if memory serves. And it’s a hedge if Hunter doesn’t come back so I think we want him either way. I’m fairly certain we are prioritizing a pass first PG, but if we had Sallis, Claude and Cam I don’t think anyone would complain.

I’m feeling good about Cosby, but this person giving me updates won’t say a word about the PG situation. No hints, no nothing. I don’t know what that means, but they must be good. I want it to be Claude from Xavier, but I have nothing to suggest that’s even a possibility.

Wouldn’t blame him one bit if that’s the case. We could have used him, especially for depth. Pretty sure UCLA doesn’t even have a scholarship to give him right now and their NIL is a mess.

Exactly. And he’s gotten significantly better since his time at Wake. He looked unstoppable this past year in the G-league against very, very good competition.

100% agree. Anyone on a NBA team now is crazy talented. Look at Alondes. He destroyed the G-League, but can’t quite get it going on an active roster. Lots of examples like that. Hunter needs to up his game to stick, IMHO even if he gets drafted. Hope he comes back to Wake and showcases his...

Yeah, either way we need a true PG. It’s going to be painful watching Boopie suit up for Louisville next year if he goes that route. I know there are many here who didn’t think he was good enough to be a starting ACC PG, but I respectfully disagree. I thought he was damn good for the majority...
