Hinton for the Starter: Who's In?

If this is truly a competition then each Qb should be put into the same situation to see who performs when the lights are on. I saw Hinton move the ball whether it was on the ground or in the air the ball ended up in the end zone. That's the objective of the offense. Wolford had more...

    Wake Forest Football Preseason Thread

Didn't Hinton lead the team in rushing TD's. Also, he had a 60-70 yd touchdown against NCSU. I think that his elusiveness is the difference maker in this decision. How often does a football player get to run full speed in a straight line. It's not how fast you go, it's how fast you stop and...

    Wake Football Offseason Thread

Great points Bone. I agree. This is why I see Hinton as the best option. He makes the safety respect the run and his deep ball is better. His athleticism and deep threat will hopefully help our backs see a few more openings with the safety taking a step back on the snap instead of being another...

    Wake Football Offseason Thread

I agree that Wolford played before he matured. I think the same can be said for Hinton. I think that Hinton brought a higher level of confidence to the team though. The team seemed to rally when Hinton was in the field. FSU, NCSU, IU, and the short time at Clemson when he played with mono. I...

    Wake Football Offseason Thread

It looked to me that Wolford threw a lot more bubble screens then any of the other QBs. With his other passes his decision making wasn't good at all. He had two picks that where just dropped. On paper he had a better day. The eye test says different.

    Wake Football Offseason Thread

There's another thread asking a great question. What's going on with the Qb competition. With a three man race, there should be some opinions from the few who have seen a practice.

    QB competition!

This is a valid question imo. All we heard last season was Qb and OL. This spring we've heard crickets. This decision will determine the direction for the season. IMHO, we choose the right way and we go bowling in December.

Has anyone heard how "team scheduled" 7on7 has looked so far?

The next generation of Wake QB should be Hinton

I would much rather have Hinton on my team then to have to plan against him.
