Without Tiger, Phil would have been #1 in the OWGR for years and would be the best/most accomplished player since Nicklaus. The “Big 4” between 2000-2010 made it a special time to be a golf fan.

Yes, Scottie has been on a tear. For comparison though, at this same age Tiger had 34 PGA Tour wins, 8 of which were majors. Scottie currently has 9 wins, 2 of which were majors. This may be more like a Vijay Singh level of dominance or an Ernie Els level of dominance. Maybe, maybe, a Phil level...

Harbour Town is probably my favorite course they play. Shotmaker’s course, Pete Dye, great par threes, the finishing stretch on the Sound…it’s awesome. Glad they’re pulling good fields these days. It was getting a bit hairy for awhile before it was designated as an elevated event...
