Calvin Pace comes to mind as someone who put on a lot of weight. He came to Wake having played QB in HS. He left as an NFL ready defensive lineman.

Speaking of outstanding receivers, I remember the ACC championship game in 2006. We did a pretty good job on Calvin Johnson. Riley Swanson in particular.

How many schools in the country can say that? Our coaches have done an amazing job evaluating talent. We would all love to have a bunch of high 3, and 4 star recruits. But, our results the last 2 years on the field allows me to give our coaches credit where credit is due.
