2024 Carolina Panthers thread - Panthers welcome RB Rashaad Penny

Not mad at this. The 2025 Rams 2nd will replace the 2nd from the Bryce Young trade.

Dropping down to stay in the 2nd to get a future 2nd and a 5th seems like a no-brainer unless there was a player they desperately wanted there.
 
I think that’s a solid return honestly. We get a pick back in the similar range that we traded away last night and we get a 2nd next year.
 
Based on the F-S chart, the Panthers gave up 1720 points to get 1559 points to move up to #32. That's not too bad on that chart.
 
And all of a sudden, Moose is announcing pick #46.
 
A damn RB. A RB coming off an ACL injury. Trading up to get a RB.



That's a lot to give up to move up 6 spots. Based on the F-S chart, they gave up 1931 to get 1060 and they drafted the least valuable position.

Looks like they just gave all of that away.
 
Confirm that I got this right. The Panthers gave up #33, #39, #141, and #142 to draft a WR and RB at #33 and #46 (and the 2025 Rams 2nd).

They still have #65, #101, #200, and #240.
