Pointer coming back
RTQ must have stepped up, as Pointer would have had opportunities elsewhere I would think.
Pointer coming back
Shade over 5'7" isn't he?I think we offered some short guy from Vermont, PM @80deacon for the deets.
The long snapper market is weird, man. It is almost wholly reliant on snap times, since anybody who makes it to the Division I level is going to have around the same accuracy. Wouldn't be shocking to see him at another P5.Hmm, I'm not sure I'm following. I'm guessing there is some team out there that desperately needs a long snapper (I'm guessing at a lower level given he got benched for a walk-on) that might be willing to use a scholarship on him.
He had his four years here and I can guarantee he did not have the option to return to Wake.

Pointer coming back
check the transfer portal thread?I checked all the recent threads and didn't see any positive football scoop.
Ganious can come back for one more year, right?Yes, yes, yes, I love that kid!!!! Need somebody either on the roster to improve as much as he has or get a partner for him in the middle through the portal.
I was thinking not, but if he could that would be good. He was solid and would be great to have another year.Ganious can come back for one more year, right?
Davis - Pointer - Ganious - Wayman is a pretty good front 4. Need depth.
listed as a Jr. on this year's rosterI was thinking not, but if he could that would be good. He was solid and would be great to have another year.
We haven't yet had a Hartman or Bothroyd situation yet. NIL considerations have not been the reason for any of the departures.@RollTheQuadNIL
Have any of the departures been influenced by NIL considerations at Wake or at other universities?
That's great to hear, thanks! We haven't yet had a Hartman or Bothroyd situation yet. NIL considerations have not been the reason for any of the departures.
What did Bothroyd get and did he have a decent year at OU?We haven't yet had a Hartman or Bothroyd situation yet. NIL considerations have not been the reason for any of the departures.
