Official 2024 NFL Thread. Draft is done. Which Teams will Find Winng "Lottery Tickets" in Undrafted Free Agents?

If Washington takes Mitchell I’m gonna be upset with pats front office. We needed one of those 3 WRs.

2nd and 3rd round gonna run til 1 AM if they're gonna just let every guest announcer do a 3-minute monologue before announcing the pick. Sheesh, keep it moving.

The Eagles draft a white CB and they show highlights of him playing several other sports I guess to prove he's athletic.

Anyone else remember the draft in Nashville when the Texans TE came out to announce the pick and he announced another TE? He was so pissed about it he got in a drunken brawl and got arrested later that night.

No. I remember Thomas Davis announcing Shaq Thompson. That was a little awkward.

I don't understand taking an edge rusher there for the Cowboys but he must have been graded highly by the org

I guess he replaces Armstrong on the depth chart tho

Right. You can certainly argue they should have taken Pittman or Higgins or whoever and that may have worked. But Rodgers/Love worked out long-term just like Farve/Rodgers did.

Of course, that's no guarantee Cousins/Penix will work. It's a bit hypocritical for Cousins to be so put off by this. He got a few months before the Falcons drafted a QB. RGIII didn't even get 48 hours before Washington drafted Cousins behind him.

Saban just shit all I’ve Jermaine Burton who punched a girl at Neyland last year.

Three Eagles picks and no additions to the Philly chapter of the UGA Alumni Association. Somebody needs to check and make sure Howie is feeling OK.

A couple of head scratchers for me. Doesn’t help when Jerry is out broadcasting picks

That being said Stephen and McClay have killed draft last few years so they have my trust until proven otherwise

Call me old fashioned, but I don’t think flaunting expensive useless technology purchases in public when you’re trying to shake down tax payers for a new building is the best look.

How about kicking off a press conference praying for God to let that stadium be built and asking for the team to win a Super Bowl?

well, yeah, and what the mayor said. And that's why I said, "who knows if that will actually be the case". I was actually pretty pumped about the Arlington Heights plan, because that is much easier for me to get to, but I think it would ultimately be a bad thing for the city.
How would it be bad for the City? Anyone who goes to a major event in Arlington Heights is spending most of their money in Chicago. The folks that are going just for a game aren’t spending any more money in The city than what they spend at the game.

The other than that’s nuts is the city still owes over $600M for the last Soldier Field remodel

I didn't get the pick from a KC perspective. They already had the same WR in Hollywood. I thought McConkey or Mitchell would have made more sense. From a Buffalo perspective, I like the trade because you get more draft capital and Mitchell or McConkey with the next pick and maybe Malichi Corley later in the 2nd. And I really don't get Atlanta. Penix won't want to wait 2-4 years to play, and now you've pissed off Cousins. It's Rodgers/Love part deux.

Was pleasantly surprised to see Wiggins and Dejean still on the board for my Ravens. I thought all the quality OTs and CBs would have been gone.
Worthy does not have small hands. Or does he?

He is also good in space, which is what KC values with all those quick passes. Drops appear to be a non-issue.

The Alabama game is where he separated from their secondary speed. I like Mitchell better, but KC saw something. I also like Polk a lot.

Chiefs still have Watson, so there is no need to draft McConkey.
