Wake Golf 2024 - Women finish 9th and Men 16th

if WF and Texas end the day tied for 2nd, do they play an extra hole(s) or is there a tiebreaker to determine the #2 seed?
 
we struggle getting birdies on par 5s which are where most of the field gains shots, but we are under par on par 3's when most of the field is several shots over par.
 
Clear of 9th by 21 shots now. Walsh T7 despite the 11 yesterday.

It likely will. And it would cost her exactly one hole in match play. This team is rolling today and has a great shot to win this thing.

Not sure it matters but UT went -2 vs our +3 for a 5 stroke swing so they get 2nd seed and Deacs with 3rd. I’m sure we are very familiar with Noles so hopefully cant take them to face UT in semis.
 
Top 3 goal achieved! Great job. Would have loved a stronger finish to secure 2nd or even push for 1st, but 3rd is great. TX beat us by 3 shots on the last 3 holes to take 2nd from us...
 
we have been really bad at par 5s. hopefully we can rectify
 
Hopefully a day with a lot of golf ahead of us. All the teams left are good, and Florida State this AM is certainly no exception.

Would think we get wins from Migs and Rhodes against FSU's two "worse" players based on play this week. Walsh vs. Heath will be a heavyweight battle which could go either way. I would have Carolina and Rachel as slight favorites too, but it's match play where anything can happen.

Actually - Woad has been great this year for the Noles and she's taking on Carolina. That may be a pretty tough one as well. Seems like a steep dropoff for the Noles after Heath and Woad. They rotated out their 5 during the stroke play portion to not much success.

Let's get it done.
 
Down 3-1 early, nothing by more than 1 stroke though. Don’t let those balloon to multiple hole deficits and we are fine.
 
are y'all actually watching the golf on TV or online or just that golf stats site

at some point you have to start winning holes and we aren't often and when we do giving it right back up. Hopefully they can start to have a strong back half or going to be a disappointing end.
