Wake Golf 2024 - Women finish 9th and Men 16th

Aside from a 2-stroke cushion (not much), we have the advantage of only one shot between our 4 and 5 players right now. Of course, that matters not if multiple players blow up.
But both of them are on a par five that we've done very well on this week.

Utah -1, Wake +1, BYU +1 on the last two completed holes.

2 behind Utah, 2 ahead of BYU with 4 holes left...

Meisel bogeys 9, but so does BYU's player in the group so it evens out.

Kennon makes par on 8, which currently doesn't matter but provides some cushion if Brennan falters.

Still a two shot lead

Adams makes bogey on 9 and the Deacs now only lead by 1

Comes down to Brennan's last two holes.... That's why WF put him in the anchor spot

Both BYU and Wake only have two golfers still out there, but both of BYU's guys will count and only one of Wake's will.

A lot of pressure on Brennan now

Brennan made par on 8, as did BYU.

It's now essentially two guys playing the par 5 for BYU vs just Brennan playing the par 5. If both BYU guys birdie it's impossible for Wake to beat BYU without an eagle

It is very weird for a par 5 to play this tough at that level of golf, wonder what the hole is like?

thanks, everyone for posting the updates. Reading these is always more exciting than watching live
