but they're a LOT of work, and any ability to be spontaneous is gone.
 
Ugh, puppies are so cute....but SO MUCH WORK! I love our dog. I really do. But our life would be so much easier now without a dog (mostly due to the addition of a baby). Obviously different dogs and different situations make a difference (i.e. our dog won't poop in the backyard so we have to walk her, which takes time and sucks in bad weather + we live in the city with a smaller yard and don't feel comfortable leaving her outside or with a dog door during the day, etc).

So, I threw an engagement party for my fiancée tonight. One of our guests didn't bring a present. How should I handle in? I know that when he and his parter get engaged, those guys are going to want a present.

if you get a dog, it will be fantastic and rewarding and you'll wonder how you ever DIDN'T have a dog... but just make sure you're doing what's best for the potential pup.

I was feeling lucky so on my way home I got a diet coke and $20 from 7-11. Went to my local Indian casino to play slots. Sat down at Wheel of Fortune, $3 in got the Wheel bonus, won 4000 credits ($1000) gambled my way back to $20 and walked out with $1020.
 
Oh, then I used that $20 to buy 10 Powerball tickets.
