Video Game Thread - The Last of Us = GOTY

Man, I haven't had this much fun playing a multiplayer shooter in a long time. Titanfall is good. I'm assuming it's lacking depth atm since it's just a beta, but that's my only complaint thus far (doesn't seem to be a ton of progression to do yet).. I'm just playing with my xbox controller hooked up my PC and am just pwning most noobs anyway.
 
Not since Halo have I been a fan of a multiplayer shooter. I think that is largely because it is so hard to get my friends together to play.

Titanfall does look sweet, but I'm not sure how much mileage I'm going to get out of it. I think it does have the best chance of roping me in of any game in recent memory, though.

Have you played yet? Think they opened the xbox one beta up yesterday to all...
 
I think the match size feels just about right (6v6). And the addition of grunts is nice because it allows you to level up/obtain skills and unlocks even if you aren't all that great (which was me for the first 4-5 matches).

At first I did a lot of putting my titan in guard/follow AI mode when I called it down, but I've figured it out it's much better to just get in it and kill things yourself.
 
Anyone else been following this?

An Australian hacker set up an emulator in twitch where commands typed into the comment box are used as a controlled to play Pokemon. The only catch is there are normally 50000 people watching at a time with hundreds typing in commands per minute. Somehow, they are over halfway through the game. I wish they allowed PC and Xbone peeps to play together. :(

Although you could get it for the PC I guess instead of your Xbone.
 
I'll be getting Titanfall for Xbone. Probably going to play Thief first though, so I'll be one of the noobs that starts playing Titanfall after the release date when everyone else is amazing already.

Also, sucks you don't have a gaming PC texas. We could get a sick titanfall crew on dat between TW, myself, probs df09, and you.
