Im taking one of my teaching certification exams this morning and I just had to copy down a 60 word statement in cursive saying that I won't cheat or disclose test questions.
My form looks like a toddler tried to write on it. RIP cursive skills. The computer has killed you.
Finally, a way to keep cold stuff cold.

I think you mean illegible.
So what exactly does the GRE test? Subject matter based?
There's a maths section and a verbal section (and a writing section that supposedly doesn't count). Like the SAT -- and correct me if I'm wrong, test people -- it is an aptitude exam, not an achievement exam.
There are, however, subject-based achievement GRE tests that are intended to test the breadth of knowledge in a given specialty. Many graduate schools will require these subject exams if they are offered in your field. Other schools, Columbia notably, aggressively discourage taking them, arguing that they aren't a good representation of achievement.
the english GRE is absurd
Absurd hard, or absurd stoopid?
