The point is it's ridiculous to set up any individual road game as some sort of litmus test for a program, particularly early in the season. It's not the end of the world if we're .500 or a game under heading into Xavier. After UNC we only play one top 10 ACC team until we close out the season against Duke. That's the run that's going to matter this year. Hopefully we get the freshmen lots of minutes early and the injuries/suspensions get cleared up well before then.

Huh? We play 2 games vs ND, Virginia, NC St, Pitt & FSU in that stretch. That is only one top ten ACC team? If we are a game under .500 heading into Xavier & then proceed to go 1-7 in the next 8, there is not going to be any stretch of the season that matters. I hope it isn't true, but we possibly may have 2 seniors that are the best players Wake will have for the next few years and if the season is that big of a dumpster fire then the Manning era may be short lived.

I'm only assuming those Arkansas players are and still will be suspended when we play them, correct? That should be a W.
 
Have I missed something? The Roanoke paper reports that Andre Washington is redshirting this year. Is he injured?

He's redshirting, so he can get his degree and transfer to another school for his senior year to get more playing time.
 
After this game would be a great time to lift Hudsons suspension. Rondale, on the other hand, needs to learn his lesson.
