2015 Maui Invitational: Hudson & Watson to Play in 3rd Place Game v. UCLA 7:30 ESPN2

Not expecting to win tonight. That would likely lead to a matchup with UCLA. How cool would it be to beat Indiana and UCLA in Maui?!!

I am concerned about this matchup. Vandy shoots the 3 really well. 42% on the season. Also, with WF's current lack of depth, playing back to back will be tough. Doesn't help that Vandy won by 1000 points yesterday, and could spread their minutes. With all that said, Vandy has played nobody all year. Their best opponent to date is Stony Brook, and SB took Vandy to OT. So, hard to say how good Vandy really is right now. The Vegas line has Vandy favored by 10.5. kenpom predicts an 80-72 Vandy win. If WF had its full roster, would like our chances. Given that WF is short-handed, fear that WF will wear down.
 
I am eager to see what Vandy does against a team that rebounds well. I think their bigs are soft and we can exploit them there. They shoot the same percentage as Indiana does from behind the arc.

I think if we can hammer them inside and have a good rebounding margin then we have a chance.
 
It's so strange that DM is stringing this suspension along instead of just setting a number.
 
I'm expecting us to get stomped tonight, it just seems too predictable for us to be brought back down to earth after a rare high last night. However, I'll be watching and hoping.
 
It's kind of unfortunate that we don't really get an immediate chance to emphasis coaching points from last night's game, considering I would imagine there are thousands. Now we may just get lit up again because of the same poor defensive rotations.

The poster murraystate said 7 from the beginning but DM could bring him back whenever. Maybe Manning brought them in case of an emergency, but doesn't plan on playing them. Who knows.
