2015 Maui Invitational: Hudson & Watson to Play in 3rd Place Game v. UCLA 7:30 ESPN2

Rondale earned some more PT with his defensive effort.......hopefully VHs minutes

Absolutely. As long as he continues to play good d he deserves to play and should keep Van Horn from having to play at all. Maybe McClinton too

That was a very successful trip to Maui, I was afraid we'd be 1-2 with our only win against Chaminade in the 7th place game. We've yet to play a game at near full strength yet as well.

Am I wrong to be concerned about Crawford flying back 10 hours with the team? Anyway the whole team doesn't get sick? Don't know how to prevent it though.

Now we need Rondale and Hudson to lay off the weed. Both helped their team win tonight. Really good game by Thomas. Nice win, hopefully they all can have a relaxing day tomorrow and enjoy Thanksgiving in Hawaii.

A good topic to bring up at your Thanksgiving meal tomorrow with folks that don't keep up with details of November college hoops - "Wake just beat Indiana and UCLA"

Most excited I've been in a long time. Great effort. Great FT shooting. Rondale was strong on D. He was a nice piece of the puzzle out there.

Yeah I'm pretty exited about how that tourney went. Being down two starters vs. Indiana and down two different "starters" (namely, the two scholarship PGs) against UCLA. And pulling out a legit comeback and defending a late game 1 point lead. I was so sure we were going to lose with like 2 minutes to go in this one, but maybe this is a different team after all.

Great win let's fucking go. Now take care of business in the next 4 before our schedule gets tough!

Where is moonz tonight?

That was the best game I've seen us play in a while. Granted, I think having 2 pairs of fresh legs out there helped a lot, but we were still without CMM and Crawford. Notably, our perimeter passing was good. Very few lazy passes (until the last couple minutes when we had one), and we were in position to make rebounds. And until we bricked two in the last 30 seconds, we were very good at the FT line. I don't know how good Indiana or UCLA will be come the end of the year, but these were still two wins away from home (not true road wins, but still on the road) against big name opponents. It has to do something for the confidence of this young team knowing they can (1) compete, and (2) actually win.

I fully expect a blowout loss to Cleveland state in first round. ;)
