yea my fiancee has sinus issues and basically says the same thing

neti pots work better than any sinus meds she's taken too

docs say she has weird shaped sinuses (?) so neti pots are probably the best bet for her
 
Neti pots are great. I can't find mine after the move and probably need to pick up a new one.

My ENT recommended the NeilMed Sinus Rinse over the Neti Pot. I've been using it for 10 years and love it. Once I start getting stuffy, I use it the first day and its cleared up within a day or so. That in combination with Nasocort twice daily has been a lifesaver.
 
I gave myself an ear infection with a neti pot once. Doc said it was a "one in a million" shot. I still use mine, but my sinuses have to be really bad, because I am afraid of ear infections. Until it is at that point or unless I am pregnant, love me some Afrin.
 
Is the Ben Folds show at the Joel or the Stevens Center? If it's at the Joel, I bet you'd be fine wearing whatever -- probably the Stevens Center, too, since I don't think people generally dress up for stuff anymore. I've been to concerts here, big time orchestras, and the kids are just wearing what they wore to school. Same thing with Boston Symphony Concerts that I've been to recently, or concerts at Symphony Hall. Don't sweat it.

I believe technically it is a performance of the Piedmont Wind Symphony with BF as a guest performer. Therefore, you're right in that you dress for the symphony part. Although it is at the Joel so that certainly adds to the casual nature. I hope it's great. The past few symphonic events at the Joel have been disappointing as the space has turrible acoustics so everything is mic'd up. It just sounded like you were listening to a CD being played. However, BF will be rocking!
 
I disagree with the purported health benefits of the neti pot. Something about pouring water up your nose seems incorrect, idk.
 
I can't wait to catch a cold so I can break out the neti pot.
